SERVICES
Chiropractic Care
We offer clinically effective and safe techniques including traditional hands on manipulation, table assisted and instrument assisted techniques to correct stress areas of the spine and soft tissues. We provide care for our community from pregnancy and post partum, day 1 of birth, through sports years and into the golden years.
Cranial Shaping / CranioSacral Release / Tongue Tie
This is a chiropractic technique involving gently moving the bones of the head to "balance" the cranial plate movement and positioning. Often during pregnancy or the birth process, these cranial bones can become pressure stressed and are not able return to their normal shape after the baby is born. We work to restore the normal movement of the cranial bones by providing a very gentle pressure to specific points on the head, inside the mouth, down the spine and including the sacrum. This allows the sutures and cranial bones to flex and move with breathing and allow the cerebral spinal fluid to flow normally. Tongue and TMJ motion is important to the shape of the head and oral tissues that are tight and restricted can cause pulling and skull / facial changes. Normal tongue motion and healthy feeding depend not only on soft tissue flexibility but also on normal - unrestricted nerve flow. Soft tissue, joint and nerves are all addressed in these sessions of body work. It is often common to use cold laser to assist in soreness, post surgical swelling, and to promote healing.
Therapy
Deep Tissue, Medical / Orthopedic Massage, Active Release Techniques
These sessions are 30-90 minute sessions of 1:1 treatment. The session is planned out with specific goals that range from relieving pain, muscle relaxation, improving flexibility and motion. Cost effective and applied to your comfort level of pressure; can be performed seated, laying, clothed or as part of traditional massage.
Lymphatic Massage
This is a session used to open up lines of congestion in your body that have been stagnated. Manual lymphatic drainage relieves swelling from medical treatments, illnesses that block normal lymph movement, and congestion from sedentary routines, travel, and general system overload. Session involves gentle sweeping and light contact pressure pumping to assist your body in natural fluid movement. 30-90 minute sessions available.
Cupping
This session is for those seeking pain relief, help with feelings of stiffness, heaviness, skin congestion / lymphedema, inflammation, relaxation of muscle stiffness and tightness. Special cups are placed on your skin and pulling suction is used to move pressure through the skin layers as they are moved in different angles to promote healing. This is another noninvasive way to access acupuncture points for all the benefits without needles; 15-30 minute session
Cold Laser Therapy
Our Cold Laser has 22 FDA clearances and is approved for pain relief. During a treatment a small low-level laser therapy device is placed over the target area. A red beam of light is visible during treatment and different machine settings are used to treat various conditions including: neck and back pain, muscle spasm, disc inflammation and injuries, nerve conditions and more. Sessions are 15-30 minutes on average.
Ionic Foot Bath
Technology of this system is widely used to increase cellular energy by using ionic exchange. Your feet have around 2000 of the largest pores in your body and are submerged in a warm water footbath for this 15-30 minute session. Once your feet are in the mineral treated water the machine is set and positive and negative ions begin flowing throughout your body. The ions can attach themselves to the toxins or impurities and then are flushed out through the feet into the water. This therapy has shown benefits of clearing heat from the body with chinese acupuncture like results. Some clients use this therapy monthly as a health maintenance and others seeking support from a diagnosis add this to their care plan weekly depending on their individual needs.
Microcurrent / Frequency Specific Microcurrent
This treatment can be used for pain management, muscle conditions, nerve issues, brain health, acupuncture point treatment and more. Technology used can be applied to the skin with a medical grade skin patch for 20-40 minute sessions or it can be applied with a portable handheld unit the size of a writing pen in only a few minutes. Microamperage current is the application of the same kind of current your body produces on its own within each cell. This is current in millionths of an amp. It is very small; there is not enough current to stimulate sensory nerves so the current flow cannot be felt.
Pelvic Floor / Postpartum
Pelvic floor education, bracing / support, and soft tissue treatment are customized for the individual to meet your specific goals. In office and at home care plans help you use your window of healing time to the fullest. Recovering from 9 months of posture stress, muscle overwork, tendon and ligament stretch out plus the labor and delivery event, and then followed by hormone shifting the body often needs help transitioning through stages of healing. Scar tissue areas can be overrestricted and nerve health extremely sensitive to manual therapies. In some cases you may need frequency based therapy applied with techniques for soothing relief and after a few sessions change to more advanced tissue work to your comfort level.
